Program Coordinator Position
The Program Coordinator of One to One Learning works under the direction of the Executive Director and facilitates the running of the organization’s English language programs providing an opportunity for adults to learn English as a new language.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, secure and provide an initial orientation as well as continued development for volunteer teachers, in numbers sufficient to meet the needs of the program.
- Coordinate all aspects of classroom management for English, computer, high school equivalency (GEDs), and citizenship classes as well as the children’s program.

Maintain student records and correspondences:
- attendance and progress reports,
- issuance of Student IDs,
- CovID Vaccination status,
- letters of recommendations and advocacy.

Maintain records of revenue and expenditure:
- student fees (books, IDs, etc..),
- collect and submit funds to Treasurer for deposit,
- submit invoices to Executive Director for approval and payment.
- Work with Executive Director and Treasurer on the annual budget for Program related classroom revenues and expenses.
- Purchase and maintain an inventory of approved books and supplies.
- Research and obtain supplemental materials for teachers when necessary.

Onsite on class days (e.g. Monday and Wednesday evenings):
- opening of classrooms and greeting of teachers and volunteers,
- distribution and collection of class folders,
- assign students to other classes in the absence of a teacher or fill-in teaching when necessary,
- ensure classrooms are properly vacated and closed.
- Coordinate with online classes and teachers.

Coordinate and implement student/teacher activities, eg.
- Welcome teacher supper
- Thanksgiving Gift Cards
- Christmas Gifts/Fiesta de los Reyes Magos
- Awards Ceremony
Support the Executive Director in any special assignments when requested (eg. Website enhancements or the preparation of marketing material.)
